Mustard seeds <br />5-6 Curry leaves <br />1 small onion, finely chopped <br />1 small tomato, finely chopped <br />2 tbsp. Curd <br />2 tbsp. Coriander chutney <br />2 tbsp. Tamarind chutney <br />1 tbsp. Boondi <br />⅓ tsp. Red chilli powder <br />¼ tsp. Chaat masala <br />¼ tsp. Cumin powder <br />1 tbsp. Sev, for garnish <br />2 tbsp. Vegetable oil <br />¼ tsp. Coriander leaves, for garnish <br /> <br /> <br />Method:- <br />1. Cut the idlis into bite sized pieces. <br />2. Heat oil in a pan, and put in the mustard seeds. When they start to crackle, add in the curry leaves and saute until aromatic. Then add the idli pieces and fry until golden brown. <br />3. Drain the excess oil on paper towels, and then start assembling the chaat. <br />4. In a bowl, put some of the fried idli pieces at the bottom, and top with some onions and tomatoes. Then add in the curd, followed by coriander chutney and tamarind chutney. <br />5. Then season with red chilli powder, chaat masala, and cumin powder. <br />6. Add a few pieces of boondi over the top, and sprinkle generously with sev. <br />7. Garnish with coriander leaves. <br /> <br />Delicious and quick Idli Chaat is ready to eat! HAPPY COOKING!!!
